Chobe River Lodge is located in the small town of Kasane, on the Chobe River in Northern Botswana. The lodge is five minutes by boat from the Chobe National Park and approximately eight minutes by vehicle.

There are many fine Lodges in Kasane, however most have over a hundred rooms, Chobe River Lodge only has 12. Whilst other lodges have ten guests on a game viewing vehicle, Chobe River Lodge only allows 6. This ensures all guests have a window seat.

Chobe River Lodge is a four star lodge with five star commitment.

Breakfast is a continental buffet with the option of a cooked breakfast. Lunches are a la carte with a variety of salads, warm dishes, cheeses and cold meats. Dinner is a set menu where the lodge serves a starter, main course and dessert. The bread is home made as are many of the jams and honeys. Your professional guide will join you for breakfast and take the opportunity to discuss your day's activities. All guests and managers sit together for meals, making for great conversations and new friendships. However, should you prefer a private table, please let a staff member know.

Luxury Riverview Rooms: Spacious double or twin room with en-suite bathroom and verandah overlooking the Chobe River. Beds can be made into two single beds or one king size bed. Air conditioning, free wifi, coffee making facility, and all needed toiletries including a hair dryer.

Luxury Courtyard Rooms: Luxury double room with en-suite bathroom and large shared courtyard veranda. Beds can be made into two single beds or one king size bed. Air conditioner, Mosquitonet, coffee making facility, and all needed toiletries including a hair dryer.

Victoria Falls Tour: Victoria Falls is an hour and a half drive from the lodge. Why not take advantage of your stay and let the lodge arrange a day visit for you.

Game drives into Chobe National Park: On the daily game drive into Chobe National Park Elephants by the hundreds, herds of buffalo, different type of antelopes, giraffes, and even lion and leopard are regular sights. Not to mention the amazing bird life with over 400 different species.
 

Boat Cruise in Chobe National Park: A very special experience as all game is coming to the water's edge to drink. Get close to herds of elephants, crocodile, hippos and all other animals coming to the water. Watch out for the fantastic birdlife.
