General Description :
Mtepatepa is a comfortable mono hull type houseboat. She has 3 cabins. Two of the cabins have double beds and the third cabin, 2 bunk beds (4 x singles). There is a shower next to the 3 cabins and 2 toilets on main deck. As well as a shower on the outer lower platform. New gas geysers have been installed on both showers. Each cabin has fitted cupboards and is fully equipped with bedding & fans.

The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a lounge/dining area (with aircon). The bar fridge is ideal for storing vegetables, milk and bread. On the outer section of the middle deck there is one free standing freezer. Another freezer under one of the bench upholstered seats , used for keeping drinks cold and ice blocks frozen.
There are 2 toilets and a Jacuzzi.

A wood/charcoal braai is available to have braai’s on the shore.
Tender Boat : A 12 foot pontoon type and small sports tender boats are available. Ideal for fishing and game viewing.
Price : To be advised. The price excludes Diesel for main boat & tender boat, Petrol & oil, drinks, Ice, catering and National Parks Lake Usage Fees. Catering can be arranged on request. Drinks can be ordered on a Sale on Return basis.
A rule of thumb guide for daily fuel requirements is approximately 18 litres per hour. This will allow sufficient for the generator as well as the engines. If visitors intend to travel to the far side of the lake the charter must be for a minimum of 4 days. Please note fuel consumption will change with lake conditions and speed of the boat.
Other : Clients are requested to bring their own swimming towels, toilet paper, soap and dishwashing liquid, charcoal, firelighters, matches, etc.
