Wild Geese Lodge, secure and private in its own wildlife reserve, just fifteen minutes from Harare's bustling city centre, is a charming thatched retreat with sweeping views across the Mazowe Valley to the blue mountains of the Iron Mask range. The lodge is built and decorated entirely by Zimbabwean craftsmen, using local timber, thatch and clay flagstone tiles. The original ceramics, paintings and basket ware frame walls. Hand painted fabrics and wall hangings are used extensively throughout the reception rooms.

Breakfast is served in the sunny dining room, while light lunches or barbeques are enloyed on the lawn. Guests are invited to relax by the fire in the bar, before dining on fresh local fare prepared by the lodge's team of trained chefs. There is also a sparkling pool.

The spacious and cool bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms are situated away from th main lodge, giving maximum privacy to guests. Two cottages, with their own private sitting rooms and verandahs are available for longer visits. There is also a family room available.
